The challenge: Help a charity to get the most out of its high-value donors.
The solution: An appeal for restricted funds – with a strict time limit attached.
The outcome: By focusing on one project and giving commitment to the donor that their money would make a tangible difference to this community we were able to increase the income from each supporter. But, most importantly, this involvement strengthens the relationship with the donors as we have been able to show them how they have helped to change lives in that community.
The learning: An intelligently presented proposition can kick-start a high-value programme and create a relationship with supporters, opening the door for them to become major donors in the future.
