Livability

Door-to-Door recruitment leave-behind

"A supporter's first interaction with a charity is often the most important. Impressions formed can colour an individuals relationship with that charity for years to come.

So when Livability needed a 'leave behind' to support their Door-to-Door recruitment, our first task was to reassure new supporters that they had made the right decision. Crucially, we also wanted them to know that decision was appreciated.

The inspiration came from 31-year-old Joanne, who has cerebral palsy and says that thanks to Livability's support, 'I can now do everyday things. Like make myself a cup of tea.'

A fairtrade teabag was included and new donors encouraged to enjoy a cup of tea on Livability. This small token of thanks reminded new supporters of what makes Livability, and therefore the decision to support them, so special. Livability helps disabled people to achieve the things that are important to them as individuals; which can be as simple as making a cup of tea."
