High Value Supporter Pack

"We wanted to give supporters an insight into the workings of a real research project. And that meant a research scientist, Dr David Werring, talking to them in his own words.

High Value supporters know when things are being simplified and don't like being talked down to - demographically they're AB, which often means a university education so it was absolutely essential that the pack accurately reflected exactly what was involved in carrying out a long-term scientific research project.

You won't read many fundraising packs that use language like this - and I don't mind admitting that I had to read through it a few times before I was sure I understood the nuts and bolts of the research. But we were right to suspect that the audience would stick it out - the pack is The Stroke Association's most successful High Value Appeal ever."
